Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 This is actually pretty good. Each team as a character from Game of Thrones. http://www.draysbay.com/2015/4/7/8353281/the-night-is-dark-and-full-of-errors-mlb-teams-as-game-of-thrones Toronto Blue Jays - Jon Snow Ah, our lovable bastard to the North. Jon Snow, being of natural birth, does not have the name or birthright that mean so much in Westerosi culture. However, years on the Wall and beyond have toughened him; now an able commander and toughened warrior, Jon understands where the true war lies, yet remains oblivious to the immense power he himself possesses. The Blue Jays had been much an afterthought this last decade, operating with a team of misfits and castoffs. But now they appear to have the power and name recognition to compete, and are thrust into the middle of this ongoing war.

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Nice. Alex Meyer plz. I can get on board with this as a DDL owner.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Probably Trevor May first. Minnesota should have called up Meyer mid-season last year, I don't understand watch their plan for him is. He's 25 and doesn't stand to gain much from repeating AAA. When's the last time a team made a 25-year-old top prospect repeat AAA when he was good the first time and their MLB club obviously needs him? It boggles the mind. They either love him so much that they want to get an extra year of control on him, or someone in charge just doesn't trust him and thinks he needs to work on his control.

Terry Ryan man, old school, he's slowed everything down.

With the help of R'hllor, we will defeat the great Other (Red Sox).
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale on Yasmany Tomas "He needs to get in better shape. I think fitness-wise, he needs to get in better shape. He knows that. He worked really hard all spring. It's not just working hard, it's how you eat and learning a new country and all these things. I mean, it hasn't been easy for him."

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 It was pretty obvious that Cecil wasn't right yesterday. Hopefully he just wasn't able to get loose, and it's nothing more serious.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 D'Arnaud with a perfect throw to nab Yunel lol. Former Blue Jays everywhere this afternoon. Harvey looks electric but was a bit wild in the first. I don't know why he even attempted lol DeSclafani has his slider working today, he nabbed Walker for his 4th K Edit: Now the Reds game is in Rain Delay mode
