Somewhat arbitrary, but it's the first time a player has hit 5 homeruns in his team's first three games of a season. AGon is seeing the seams right now.

No way. In baseball history?

Joey Votto singles in Hamilton and the Reds tie it again at 4-4!

He's so unclutch, I wish he would hit moar homerz.

Jepsen and Boxberger with 6 K's in the last two innings. I can only imagine how effective they could build a team if the MLBPA wouldn't s*** on them for wanting to limit all pitchers to 9 PA's.

That's according to Rick Sutcliffe's crew, so take it with a grain of salt lol.

I was saying lol, it's incredible if he did but I highly doubt he's the first

Not enough RIBEYES! Who does this guy think he is by clogging up the bases all the time?

What he's doing is remarkable though, not exactly common for a player to begin the season hitting homers left and right. I could believe that he's the first guy to do this.

Well McGehee just cemented the win for SF basically, 2 run homer juuuuuuuuuuust clearing the LF fence at the top of the 9th. Cincy/Pittsburgh and both LA games are really good to watch right now, tight ball games everywhere!

That's true, first player to get 3 hits in his first 2 games to start the season since the 70s right? Now he's got 3 hits (bombs) this game too, what a start!

That stuff is really easy for a baseball broadcast to look up. You should believe it.

They are probably right but it's just really hard to believe, stats have been collected for over a 100 years and this is the first instance of it? Pretty cool though!

If anyone sees a Chapman sighting please let me know immediately. Switching between channels since I don't have MLB.tv
