Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Man, probably closer to 18 months. Pineda tore his labrum in March/April 2012 and didn't get back into a game until June 2013 (14 months or so). But even then, hiccups are common - the Yanks shut Pineda down for shoulder soreness in early August of 2013. It basically took Pineda 24 months to get sort of healthy.... and you could argue that he's still not right since he missed 3 months / 87 games last year with a shoulder strain. I think you can basically forget about Stilson ever being a big leaguer. Ouch, it's posted as 6-8 months, but I too see it as much longer.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I could see Stilson coming back 10 months after the surgery because he's a reliever, but that's assuming there are no setbacks.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
