You "only" feel comfortable with 6 of our likely relievers? For a 7-man 'pen, I'd say that's pretty f***ing comfortable, no?

 

Well it's in context, the post I was replying to from @glory stated he was comfortable with almost a dozen potential options so it was relative to that. Also out of my comfortable 6 Jenkins might not be around full time because of his 2 way flexibility with Buffalo and also he's redundant with Redmond & Estrada as the long men. Sanchez could also be gone if he lands that 5th spot in the rotation so basically I think we need 2 solid pickups this offseason, set up man & closer.

Cause bullpens are volatile year to year!

 

A starter should get you more wins then your pen ever should.

 

And ever win by a starter most likely takes innings away from the pen. Win win there!

 

Job of the pen is to protect or save games!

 

If the pen gets a win it is because the offense got the win not the pen !
