Another Canadian and a Saskatchewan native no less....woohoo! What's the harm...might make the pen as a long relief guy and could have a good scouting report on kang!

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Ground ball guy. Legitimate chance to stick. 43.5 GB%. Meh. 4.42 xFIP in 60 IP last year. Meh. Looks like a replacement level RP. Meh.
BTS Community Moderator Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Like it if it is minor league deal. I can't imagine it wouldn't be.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Albers Korea 2014: 6-13 and 5.89 ERA

Meh. 60 innings isn't a big enough sample size to tell you anything. He does have over 500 innings in the minors with 7.3 strike outs 2.0 walks per 9 and .7 hr per 9 and 9.5 hits per nine. He's a soft tossing lefty pitcher who throws strikes. Probably is a minor league deal, but do you know how infrequent it is to have a saskie in the majors...let's go albers! Terry Puhl was the last saskie to play in the majors...lol

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 okay...he's not going to be the difference between making the playoffs or not....thanks to all the guys wearing their captain obvious costumes.....I'm still cheering for the kid...maybe he holds down the last spot in the bullpen for a few games this year.
