They aren't winning anything anytime soon. And with that ballpark you can attract the guys trying to re-establish their value and get similar production for a fraction of the price without the risk of a long term deal.

I don't see why the Twins wouldn't sign Santana if they liked the price. They are trying to put a good team on the field, like every other team in the league should be doing.

Look beyond the stats. This could be an excellent buy low for the Mariners. I'm a believer in Viciedo's potential and a change in scenery might help his terrible approach at the plate.
