Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Esmil Rogers is SO ours again!
glory Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Oh no, Gordon Beckham. The Jays are linked to him practically every year. Don't do it Alex.

AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 What about Everth Cabrera as a MIF option. Better than the crap the Jays have been running out there. There's the whole PED issue and the fact he sucked in 2014 but I don't think he was ever healthy.

LongTimeReader Verified Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Esmil Rogers is SO ours again! Let's not stop there, let's get all the misfits back... Juan Francisco included AA just loves to stock "high ceiling" players that have never accomplished anything, and magically these players always end up playing on the active roster
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 If the Jays need to patch together some of the DH/OF which is a real possibility, I wouldn't mind giving Viciedo a look. Give him some ABs as a DH and dump Mayberry.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 what happened to Alonso. Wasn't he suppose to be really good?
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Kris Medlen is the name that stands out for me. He's probably just on the list so the Braves can renegotiate his contract though.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Some surprisingly interesting names on that list.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Always a few interesting potentials on the list each year. I wouldn't be surprised to see Francisco let go since Smoak is now on the team and he fell apart last year. I could see him being non-tender, resigned to a minor league deal, or if AA lucks out trying to get something for him before the deadline to tender contracts approaches or even the arbitration deadline approaches. Then again with Lawrie's injury history I wouldn't be surprised if they kept him around for at least one more year unless another acquisition is made hoping he works on his swing in the offseason and his pop comes back.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2014 Author Posted November 14, 2014 Frandsen and Nats avoid arbitrage with one year dela

I'd LOVE to have Francisco stashed in Buffalo next year but someone probably gives him another shot on a major league deal and I don't want it to be the Jays.
