Terrible news to hear, especially for the Cardinals organization, who was expecting him to be the everyday RF next year. Now they'll have to seek an OF in free agency or give Grichuk or Piscotty the job.. he was a #1 prospect for the Cardinals.

This accident brings back bad memories of Josh Hancock and Nick Adenhart, who were also killed in car accidents.. and Cardinals fans have also seen Daryl Kile pass (heart attack), along with Hancock. Condolences to the Taveras family, the Cardinals organization.. it's awful to see this happen.
