gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Pompey gets a start in LF and batting eighth. I'm hoping he makes the transition to the MLB quick.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 EE had an MRI on his back. No way this guy plays well into his mid to late 30s like AA said.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 At this point the only reason for watching is in hoping that one of the prospects will have a great game. Someone said that Pompey is in the lineup tonight? Maybe he will be the next Nathan MacKinnon (different sport, but both are Canadian and Nathan MacKinnon almost single handedly turned the Avalanche from a losing team into a contending team).
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 Pompey gets a start in LF and batting eighth. I'm hoping he makes the transition to the MLB quick. Interested to see what he does. Some Jays rookies in the past had big games at Yankee Stadium. Travis Snider...ok I'll stop lol.
Vincent Verified Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Why did you delete my Reyes contest???
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 I like how you added Adam Lind's batting average and nobody else's He's the player to watch and batting average is the most important stat. I just did a quick copy and paste - so there were bound to be mistakes.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Reyes is f***ing stupid, and now Jeter will get all the praise, of course.
Vincent Verified Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Stupid gnarls deleted my Reyes contest
Vincent Verified Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I put a lot of work into it, who do you think are

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Edwin saves reyes' ass with the HR I was just going to say the same thing.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Reyes is f***ing stupid, and now Jeter will get all the praise, of course. Correct in both points - Reyes had yet another brain cramp (maybe he needs to rest till next season) and Jeter deserves the praise cuz he did get the lead runner, not so?
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 im ready for the 5 run inning edit: aaand of course the first 2 reach lol
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I just want Buehrle to get the win so Buck and Pat can STFU about it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 This is sickening to watch.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Beating the shift is the easiest thing in the world, all you have to do is go against your tendencies guys, not even sure why teams do it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 That inning was vintage Mark Buehrle, won't miss many bats, but will command all of his pitches and play excellent defense to bail himself out.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 This is why you don't bring Buehrle back he sucks against our division. He gave up one ball that should of been a base hit all inning. Lind should of caught that and there was a groundball right where the SS should have been.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Anyone want to take a shot at Stephen Drew on a 1 year deal? Good defensive SS/2b and has suffered terrible luck with his BABIP. This would be the type of move to make with limited funds.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
