You'll probably say "Season over" after this loss... if the Royals weren't losing to the White Sox 3-1 as we speak. All we lost is a game in the schedule.. still, we need to win tomorrow and Wednesday.

lol it's been over since mid August.

That's more reasonable. I mean, AA's done a good job bringing up our young pitchers. But choosing managers has not been his strong point.. Farrell is garbage in both Toronto and Boston(and will likely be fired this off-season by the Red Sox), and Gibbons is mediocre at best.

Yes he did a good job with Stroman, but they are letting Hutchison throw 180-190 innings his first full season back from Tommy John Surgery, which shows a complete lack of foresight. In fact, it shows a sign of carelessness. The lineups and depth in general are terrible. Alex has done nothing to keep his job. He probably will for one more season at least, but he's just as deserving of a firing as Gibby is. In fact, probably moreso, since everyone knew Gibbons was terrible six years ago (the first time got fired for pissing away a Rogers spending spree).

Not surprised with this loss.. Wei Yen Chen is really good. He is in the Top 10 for the CY Young Predictor on ESPN, BTW, due to his 16 wins, along with his teammate Zach Britton.

Cle losing,Kc losing,Seattle @ Anaheim

We could still be 4 back.

If we had won more at home, we would be 2 or less back-lol.

I keep expecting Gibby to do something creative.

What is creative? Please provide a suggestion

There is no talent on the bench tonight. Seven left handed hitters

He started the rh platoon players who haven't had a chance to play lately because we've seen no LH starters

Jays talk with Mike Wilner until midnight every night this week. I'm so pumped!

I wish Kansas City would win already and put the Jays out of their misery

I hate this we are still in this garbage now

Then tell Seattle and KC to stop being such mediocre teams that may only require 85-87 wins to get a wild card.

I,ll know it when i see it lol

Some of the posters on this board say stuff he should do all the time.

Something like the exact opposite of bringing in rasmus v Lefty tonite would have been acceptable.

Great, NHL analytics get their own special on Sportsnet, but luckily we have Pat to tell us how CF is the easiest position in the outfield, Happ's wins and Navarro's RBI. Awesome.

Thanks tamps for just beating NY for us LOL

Yankees get walked off in Tampa, so that pretty much puts the big fat fork into them too. It's down to Oakland/KC/Seattle for the two wildcards.

And Toronto. We're still within distance, especially considering KC has Detroit coming up and Seattle has 7 vs. the Angels, and us.

White Sox pen suddenly having trouble with the Royals. Now only up 3-2.

And the Tigers, who are still being chased by the Royals, just blew a huge lead and are now tied 6-6 in the 8th(effin Chamberlain and Coke!)

They are 4.5 games out and have to overtake 2/3 of KC, Oakland, and Seattle. Not happening you homer.
