His HR/FB% is way below career numbers. It's very unlikely to stay that way, Lind doesn't look lost at the plate or anything, he's making good contact a lot of the time, the homers will come.

 

I'm hoping it's just a down year power wise and with some of his injuries he just went with trying to get a hit rather than kill the ball. It just seems weird he only has 4 or 5 homers. I never thought he'd be back to that 30+ Silver Slugger level. I just hope his back isn't giving out but like you said he doesn't seem lost and doesn't look like he's in pain or whatnot. It won't be horrible if next year he only hits a few as long as he can carry that OBP and high average. I say this and watch him go on a tear the last 2-3 weeks of the season like Bautista did a few years go.

 

I'm partly nervous since Colby is all but gone so we'll lose his power and Melky who knows if they'll bring him back so we'll be down some power.

He struck out a bunch of hitters, he's not your usual AAA filler.

 

Karns is really intriguing. He has great stuff and his curve is downright filthy.

He completely tore up the minor leagues, although being much older than his competition. You gotta wonder how a guy with his stuff was drafted so old, previous TJS?

He's worse. Usually AAA fillers have better AAA stats. This guy has been mediocre in AAA this year.

 

Having a high ERA does not mean he's s***, please look at the overall picture, it's clear he has great stuff.

Couldn't ask for a better start from JA Happ. Hopefully the offense comes to live and doesn't waste it.

That's exactly what it was. Too bad Reyes isn't a f***ing MLB shortstop anymore. It would be nice if the FO especially AA realize this and either move him to 2B or find some team stupid enough to take him in a trade or waiver claim.

Yeah. That 1.40 WHIP looks amazing too.

So what if he strikes out a batter an inning in AAA when he allows a hit per inning and walks a bunch. That doesn't matter. Just strikeouts and stuff. f*** the results.
