HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Surely there must be a better waiver option available than Brad Mills? The guy has been absolute horseshit in the bigs. We need a Todd Redmond type of guy with options (the 2013 version, not the 2014 stud version)

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 We should have used Deck McGuire. It wouldn't have hurt.

"After Chad Jenkins pitched one of the best games in Blue Jays history on Sunday"
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Bob Elliot waited enough time after telling everyone the Blue Jays couldn't add money. Awkwardly that was not the reason they didn't make a trade. I wish this clown would just retire. He speculates and writes it as fact and has been doing it for years. He's Beeston's drinking buddy, pretty sure he occasionally writes what Beest asks him to.

BTS Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Yeah i understand it's not a big deal, but how does say belter pass through waivers? Maybe everyone interested has already discussed him with Tex to the point where they know there's no deal to be had.

Maybe. Let's say your Cashman and you know machado just got injured and u have no idea if the O's can get a deal done or not, you just let him pass through and hope a team your chasing doesn't try to get better. Yanks and Os might be a bad example cause the yanks can't catch them most likely, t why would teams risk it.
