RIPEXPOS Verified Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 We need Lawrie back to inject life into this team. Here's to hoping he's back for Tuesday...
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Some "leader" Bautista is. His whining about the deadline has given the whole team an excuse to lay down and quit. Pathetic, pathetic performance against the worst team in baseball.

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Fatcow is in a slump, can King finally make a much-needed GDT? Led by their ace, the Blue Jays were demolished 8-2 by the lowly Houston Astros on Saturday night. Advice: "Well this is troubling. After starting off his career in style two seasons ago, it appears fatcow is in an early state of decline. For the longest time many people wondered when the luck dragon would consume fatcow given that he currently sports the worst career xjPAR on the blue jays posting staff. While fatcow's regression isn't a surprise, it comes at an inopportune time for the Blue Jays who look to qualify for the postseason for the first time in 21 years. Owners in all mixed leagues will want to monitor this situation as another poor outing could give top prospects King/Orgfiller a full time role on the squad in the near future." - rotoworld Looks like fatcow's time is running out?

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Did you consider that Oberholtzer and McHugh are actually good pitchers? As is Kuechel. Feldman and Peacock, on the other hand, are hurting the Astros. In addition, the Astros offense has been young and inconsistent. losing again to those mighty Asstros
