For those who can remember this. Watching this brings the old heart pounding excitement and disappointment back again.

Classic series.

The Drive of 85 was amazing; a heart breaking end to the season.

Met a few of those Jays today, most notably Jesse Barfield. Too bad Jesse couldn't have been around for the WS wins.

1985 Blue Jays still hold best season record for the team.

I was only a kid at the time, and it would not be until after the 1993 season that I would attend a game, so I missed out on the Exhibition Stadium days. As bad as that stadium was, it was probably fun to see a game there if you had a good seat.

I was 9. That's when I became a Blue Jays (and baseball) fan. Loved Jesse Barfield thought he was great. I still remember being disappointed that he was traded to Yankees. Dave Stieb and Ernie Whitt also became favorites.

I remember being worried every time Steve "bye bye" Balboni came to the plate in that series.

I went to 1 game at Exhibition Stadium. I didn't really become a "fan" until near the end of the 1987 season... But I was well in the thick of it during the 92/93 seasons, so yay!

went to a bunch of games at the Ex - a ridiculous baseball park, and in the evening could get quite cold with breeze off the lake

What was the atmosphere like, back then? I know when the dome is open, and the sun is shining, and there's a breeze in the air, it's a much different exprience than sitting in the dome when it's closed.

I was 7. I had no idea you were older than me.

I believe he was trying to say he was born in 1997.

My earliest recollection of anything baseball was 1988. I did not grow up in a sports-loving family and had to learn it all by myself. I remember thinking such things to myself like "why is it so hard to score in the E inning"?

I didn't even really pay attention to the Blue Jays until 1990. I liked the A's at first because I thought they had really nice looking baseball cards with the green/yellow ensemble. I had terrible taste as a kid.

The park was s*****, but the atmosphere was fantastic. Hardcore fans filled the whole park, yes even right above the dugouts. The school night games were the games you wanted to be at. Fans were ruined by the sixth inning, then the hardcore heckling started and everyone loved it. Nowadays you'd be getting escorted out of the RC.

Felt more like a Triple A park. You felt closer to the players/the action then you do in RC
