This is the first time I've really noticed the seams around first base, I'm guessing from the conversion from the Argos' field.

 

Really an embarrassment. Hope they can kick the Argos out very soon.

And you didn't notice this before? We've had varying versions of the turf since 1989. And yes, the Argos need to go.

To me they just seem to really stand out today, almost as if they could come into play.

Just be glad this isn't the NFL.. artificial turf is almost the norm there.

But I don't think they generally swap out the NFL turf during. Just looks like they did a really sloppy job.

You won't have to put up with it for too much longer. They're supposed to be installing another new turf next season, before they install grass sometime in 2018.

You would think with all they know about materials technology today, that you would be able to design a material superior to grass.

NFL doesn't play on turn nearly as much as the Blue Jays do. 16 games vs. 81 games is very different.
