jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Ugh Gose... we could've scored another run on Reyes' double but he had to get fooled.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 WTF just happened?! We don't know if Reyes would have doubled had Gose been safe though.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Where does Robert Coello's forkball rank? its very close just like Felix's hard change up
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Blue Jays front office not exactly in the game of acquiring "intelligent" prospects and talent are they? You seem less tolerant of this FO lately, what made you lose whatever confidence you had left in them?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 AA's been saying for years that he wants to build a young stable of starters. Now he almost has that in Stroman, Hutchison and one of Sanchez, Norris. I don't think he'd consider trading Stroman. Yup, which is another reason I, and many others, were shocked that he'd trade for old and expensive pitchers like Buehrle and Dickey. We'll see what happens.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 He's filthy! He's dealing. He's the Stro.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Nice hold Rivera, Bautista hit that really hard
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Wow he played that perfectly off the wall.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Jesus Christ... Only the Blue Jays can manage to f*** that up what, don't start this ******** again
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I can't stand this team's celebrations after a freakin' single or they score a run, especially coming from guys like Navarro and Reyes.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Now they can safely take Stroman out if they want to.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I can't stand this team's celebrations after a freakin' single or they score a run, especially coming from guys like Navarro and Reyes. why exactly would you be upset about players celebrating scoring runs....you'd rather they celebrate grounding out?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 why exactly would you be upset about players celebrating scoring runs....you'd rather they celebrate grounding out? LOL, to be expected, the resident Blue Jays homer to the rescue. It's mostly a couple of them, like Navarro and Reyes, who play bad defense and celebrate hits as a big f***ing deal. How about they concentrate on their deficient defense instead...
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I can't stand this team's celebrations after a freakin' single or they score a run, especially coming from guys like Navarro and Reyes. it's ok if they're winning. pisses me off when they're losing a blowout and do that.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Yup, which is another reason I, and many others, were shocked that he'd trade for old and expensive pitchers like Buehrle and Dickey. We'll see what happens. At the time, it was necessary, because Stroman was in AA, and Hutch was recovering from Tommy John surgery, and Sanchez was still in A ball. Jays fans at the time didn't want to wait until 2014-2015 for those pitchers to come up. Casual fans don't have the patience. BTW, Nicolino and Syndergaard aren't close to the majors this season, as neither is expected to reach the majors until 2015(Syndergaard) or later, in Nicolino's case(he's in AA still) However, we should have kept Henderson Alvarez..although it's unknown how he'd do in the AL if he had stayed. FYI, Desclafani, who we also traded, did get to the majors, but with poor results. Otherwise, you're right that we should have kept the guys we traded..
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I was going to say that we should try stealing against this pitcher because of his high leg kick, good job Gump.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 it's ok if they're winning. pisses me off when they're losing a blowout and do that. Yeah, that's the thing, it's annoying, but this is the team the assembled.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 what;s with this chocolate milk commercial? does it have to be chocolate milk? regular milk doesn't work? LOL
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 why exactly would you be upset about players celebrating scoring runs....you'd rather they celebrate grounding out? It's annoying when the team sucks and/or is losing. For instance, the "Lo Viste" crap from last year was rage-inducing.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
