G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Actually dont know how long you been watching baseball but you dont actually make the playoffs on how many games you are over 500 you make the playoffs based on having the best record in your division. The Jays are only 3 games out, this is the closest they have been in 10 years at the all star break and all of us are very excited. The Jays will win the AL East and they will go to the playoffs And in your case I am sure your life will improve as well, I am sure it will. In any case I am not upset with you, I am upset at the Jays and redirecting my anger towards you. Take care man This. Is... Um...
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 how can such a successful business like Rogers continue to employ one of the worst management teams in the MLB. doesn't make sense.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I guess it's just difficult for me to understand what it's like to have such low expectations. As bad as the Rays have been this year, I've seen them topple the AL East at it's best with multiple elite 90+ win teams. That's success. Rooting for one's team to back into the playoffs with 84 wins is just kind of pathetic. Different strokes I guess. So why are you rooting for your team? You must know they're not winning 90 games this year.

Just because you like a team more than another team and they win isn't something to gloat about.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Do you watch every Rays game? I haven't missed a Rays game since their inaugural season in 1998. The division title in 2008 was one of the best experiences of my life. I can only hope you guys get to experience that in 9-10 years when the current regime has been replaced.

You spent an entire off season on here crowing about how wonderful the Rays were. All of a sudden when they weren't so wonderful, you disappeared. Now when the Jays are struggling, you are back. Well get used to seeing your Rays down there, because they have started their decline.

The guy posts just about as much as anyone on this board since it started and the moment they go on a insane winning streak he TOTALLY DISSAPEARS. Now they start slumping again and hes back to posting 40 times a day. All he cares about is being able to say he was right or "I told you so".

Lots of people follow a team very closely, nothing sad about it lol I haven't watched every game. I try to watch as many games as possible but if I have plans I am not going out of my way to make sure I can watch the Blue Jays. MLB season makes it difficult to watch a team play every game.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Says the guy, who's a fan of a team who hasn't made the playoffs for 20 years? This is why people accuse you of being part of the B-hive
