FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Only AA would sit on his hands and let this scrub Francisco continue on unabated. /In before the oh-so-clever "rinse and repeat" response.
sh3156 Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Come on Hutch, Please just get out of it with the tie. This is a very big game, need you to come through here

sh3156 Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Okay, but f*** on the tie, at least he got out of it.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 If the outfield is at normal depth, we're still winning.
sh3156 Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Rays should get 2 runs for Molina stealing a base
sh3156 Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 f*** man I dont know about Gose. He just doesn't look all that pulled together
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Only AA would sit on his hands and let this scrub Francisco continue on unabated. /In before the oh-so-clever "rinse and repeat" response. Francisco has an .808 OBP with 33 RBI in less than 200 plate appearances. Does he strike out a ton? Of course. Will he continue this downward spiral? Time will tell. This could be a cold stretch or something worse. On the totality of his time with the Jays has he been a scrub...absolutely not. He was taking walks and getting into better counts earlier and pitchers make mistakes. Some players hit mistakes for singles...others hit doubles and homers. I completely agree with not giving up on Francisco mostly because I'm far more patient than you. I am definitely concerned and could certainly change my opinion in a few weeks....but it's too early to get rid of him now imo.
