Well the Yankees will be looking for an upgrade so that might drive the price up a little bit. I just hope they can get something done now because with Lawrie out a 3rd baseman can be the difference of a win until he is back.

It just makes too much sense doesn't it. And to me it's not just a small upgrade, it's a great move based on the struggles and issues this team is facing.

It Changes the Dynamics of the lineup to have him in there. Francisco goes to the bench as a pinch hit lefty, Bautista goes back to right, and all of a sudden you bring back Kratz up, and this is a powerful lineup against lefties again.

 

I also think its time to do away with Francisco. This guy is taking up a roster spot, and man he ain't doing much. It was nice to see him have his moments in the sun, but he wont be doing much anymore I can you that.

I would love if we got Prado, he's a guy I've liked for a long time, I was really shocked when the Braves traded him away. Headley normally would be my preferred option, but the herniated disk is a legitimate concern, seeing as how we'd only have him for the rest of the season. We've seen Dickey and Melky play with s***** backs and they looked like garbage out there.
