ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 J.A. Happ vs. Cubans this game: 1-8, 4 K. You can thank Kratz for this, without him, Happ is lost, look at his previous start in Cincy when Gibbons decided to start Navarro at C with him on the mound...didn't turn out well.

Governator Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Just because you're a commie, and we don't agree politically doesn't mean I don't know baseball. I fail to see the humor in that play. 5-0 in the 6th inning... still half a game left. Relax, it was just a series of ridiculousness that made for an amazing moment in baseball that one needs to appreciate as entertainment as that is what this game is about, entertainment.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Notsureifserious. no, he's trying to be ironic
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Notsureifserious. Just saying everyone would be giving credit to Kratz for Happ's performance if Kratz was catching tonight.

I prefer the entertainment of smart baseball and winning...if I want to watch what I just saw Ill flip on the 3 Stooges.
orpheus Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Holy s*** guys Kawasaki has been money on D and has a good approach at the plate, let's not throw him under the bus for throwing a bit off target one time... What's with the massive over exaggerations with every negative comment? No one threw him under the bus they commented on that particular play at the time..............
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 wtf G-Snarls just went terminator
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Just saying everyone would be giving credit to Kratz for Happ's performance if Kratz was catching tonight. Oh I get it. For me all that matters is whether he has fastball command or not, when he does he looks like this, when he doesn't he implodes.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Happ is pitching a real gem here. Too bad he has zero consistency.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Do you have data to support this? No. It's by recollection. Could be wrong. His first sting of good starts seemed to coincide with Kratz catching him. Would have to separate out his stats. And he's been good with Navarro tonight
orpheus Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Spoken like someone who's been banned 6+ times for ridiculous negativity. ?? I was simply stating a fact and I was only banned once..unjustly at that.

Yeah it's all about how he goes after guys when he gets 2 strikes on them Bad Happ can't put them away
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Lets go Happ, 7 scoreless. Do it.
orpheus Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Why can't Happ be this good every outing? Lol. Too much to ask maybe? Jekyl and Hyde.
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Why can't Happ be this good every outing? Lol. Too much to ask maybe? If he can't command the fastball he's a stinker.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Great job Happ!! (always seem strange when I say that). strong 7 from our 5th starter.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 The irony...you call games over in the 1st inning when we're down a run or two. Ok meat.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 How can Happ look so good one game and so bad the next? White Sox
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 time to step on their throats and put this one away.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 The Cuban part of the lineup vs. Happ this game: 1-8, 4 K. 1 for 10 isn't it?
orpheus Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/500x/45415162.jpg Real mature from someone who constantly whines over every post he doesn't like. Reported.
orpheus Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 How can Happ look so good one game and so bad the next? It's called consistency..he doesn't have it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 7.0 IP, 7 K, 1 BB, 3.01 xFIP J.A. f***ing Happ.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 No. It's by recollection. Could be wrong. His first sting of good starts seemed to coincide with Kratz catching him. Would have to separate out his stats. And he's been good with Navarro tonight I'm pretty sure it's true although I'd think a SSS warning applies. There have been a couple good ones with Navarro behind the plate, but I just think his inconsistency is more inline with his career performance.
