ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Really? Did he instruct Cabrera to screw things up? Did he also tell Reyes to make another error on the night? The Jays could have been out of that inning with the lead intact however bad plays on the filed caused the melt-down. As I said earlier, Gose should've come in as a defensive replacement, I feel Pillar would've made 1 of the 2 plays Cabrera couldn't make in the inning. He also should've had Loup ready to pitch to Ellsbury in case McGowan couldn't get Jeter out. There's no doubt Reyes should've made that play and that's completely on him, but the above is on Gibby. Not saying he lost the game though, but he could've put them in a better position to succeed, which is his job.

Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Blowing a 6 run lead is one thing, but when you leave a pitcher in, who doesn't record a single out and obviously doesn't have it, WHILE you have a well rested bullpen? There's no excuse for that. If they lose this one, it's completely on this fat f***ing hilbilly manager of ours. He left Dustin in there way too long. He shouldn't have even faced Ellisbury, never mind anyone else. Not to mention that a decent play from either Cabrera or Reyes and the inning is over. Melky is another George f***ing Bell in left field. As scary as it sounds, I'd almost even rather have Jose Canseco out there when the game is on the line. He runs and fields like he s*** his pants and he's trying to stop it from running down his legs.

Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 and again we forgot how to hit after 1 inning like sad face
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 That's nice. Lind bangs up his foot again.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Positive vibes. LETS GO BLUEJAYS. Yeah, I'm trying to remain somewhat calm since it's still tied. If the Yankees take the lead, though...
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I prefer 1st place in AL East MLB ball to watching AAA. We haven't played 1st place in AL East MLB ball since May. We're just lucky that the rest of the division is mediocre, and even then, we've still been blowing crucial divisional games lately.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 WTF???? You don't think they care? Do you not see how fired up Reyes gets? Did you not see how amped Dionner was tonight? They care dude. If you could stop posting that'd be fantastic.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 this whole team is falling apart, injuries are killing us
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 positive vibes? dont pull a mike wilner and have no excuse other then we are still in 1st place... what are you going to do next yell at your fans that call in to talk baseball
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 No. You are being ridiculous and need to be called out on it. Stop telling me to f*** off. Go for a walk and calm down then come back. You are being an ass! This place resembles a Youtube comments section when things go wrong.

Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 That's literally all Reyes had to do there. Stop, set, throw. Dummy throws on the run, running the towards the 3B side. What a f***ing clown.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 If you could stop posting that'd be fantastic. dude...you need to smoke something to help you relax
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 This is going to be one of those games isn't it? f*** man.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Jose Mother f***ing Reyes is killing us lol him too, i really think reyes' problem is trying to be too flashy. On the run sidearm throw when you have tons of time is just fundamentally unsound
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Really? Did he instruct Cabrera to screw things up? Did he also tell Reyes to make another error on the night? The Jays could have been out of that inning with the lead intact however bad plays on the filed caused the melt-down. No, but it's the basic ABC'S of baseball to bring in the lefty lefty matchup late in the game with the game on the line. That is an automatic. So I do fault him for putting his team in a bad position. If he was doing his job, Loup would have face Ellisbury, plain and simple.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Like how many times does Reyes have to botch a throw? Holy f***.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 How can the coaching staff allow this s*** to happen? Plant your f***ing feet and throw the ball. You learn this s*** in little league. Is he being reprimanded for this s***?
