o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Sometimes you have to find some humor when everything around you is going bad. That made me laugh cant you just picture it? it would be like a marathon for fat people. they could have a table every 100 ft.... http://www.smh.com.au/ffxImage/urlpicture_id_1038173692099_2002/11/25/2611snap4,0.jpg
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Reyes might've just saved the game there. Big play. what you aren't going far enough to say he saved the season in a 4th inning run scoring double play
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 If Dickey can give us two or three more, our BP can out-pitch theirs.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 We need to start running up the pitch count
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Gose will be called up today, along with Goins. Bautista day to day, Lawrie DL.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 This is exactly what the org needed. Injury excuses. "we were in first place, when we lost Lind, Lawrie and Bautista". Injury excuses? Why, do you disagree with that statement? Were they not in first place when those players went down? Two of their three best bats and their best defender? That's just an "excuse"? That almost looks like a troll job.

Actually Dickey is pitching ok so I,m still looking for a win.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 f***, we need to up his pitch count.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I'm sorry forgot you were an expert on hitting mechanics. What team do you work for again? Right, so, stupid and not sarcastic. Got it.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Guys just turned on the game...what happened to Bautista now? Injured his hamstring or his knee on the way to first base. Lawrie got hit on his hand for the third time in a week and is out with a possibly broken finger.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Cueto dominating now. Might be game over.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Good AB from Reyes, but can he run?
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Oh my god, who did Francisco think he was in that picture?
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 If Lawrie has a broken finger how long of a recovery time are we looking at?
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Steal Reyes. We need any runs we can get.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 EE seriously can't trot to first?

You have a GM that is always looking for good PR (instead of building a good 40 man). What I'm saying is that AA is much better off with injury riddled excuses rather than just ending up 80 and 82 with the core intact. Injuries for this team and not making the playoffs sells tickets for next year.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I just saw the replay of Bautista's injury and it looked bad to me. I don't want to say exactly what it is, but it starts with "torn...". Hopefully, I'm wrong again.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 If Lawrie has a broken finger how long of a recovery time are we looking at? 6+ weeks

Lawrie got hit on his hand for the third time in a week and is out with a possibly broken finger. If he was already put on the dl then isn't it for sure broken? I thought someone said he was placed on the dl. Broken finger is what, 4-6 weeks?

They need some proper platoons.
