Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 This offense is sputtering. Gotta do anything to turn that around.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 What's his FIP this year? Under 3 Oh, wait, you were being rhetorical I thinks
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 He is terrible, you imbecile. I hope you are joking.
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Man Stroman has such a bright future, so good to see. I already have more confidence in him than Dickey.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 You must be very old to like i feel bad for ya What does this even mean?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Under 3 Oh, wait, you were being rhetorical I thinks Nothing gets by you Super Moderator.
Convo Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 What's his FIP this year? Hence why I used the word "unsustainable"....
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 You obviously have no clue what his splits are, right? It's too small a sample to mean anything, over his career he's nearly identical (.002 split). Francisco should've started, Gibby shouldn't be relying on SSS.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Under 3 Oh, wait, you were being rhetorical I thinks Over 13 WHOLE starts? Now there's a sample size to base an argument on....
Convo Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 lol not even basic stats agree with you Steamer even has him projected at 4.25 FIP rest of season, and that's considering the good start.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Question for the pitch framing experts. Is there data on borderline pitches for outside vs inside pitches? Is one called more frequently than the other? For example, is it "easier" for a catcher to frame and receive favourable calls on his glove side if he's set up straight down the middle and the batter is a lefty?
bowld Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Think its time to send Tolleson, Gose and Francisco back to AAA. They got hot for a while but have all been crap as of late
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 This is so boring. Why am I watching this garbage>?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If Hughes is going to given that high strike,it will be tough to get to him.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Hence why I used the word "unsustainable".... Yup, looks unsustainable so far today as well.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Steamer even has him projected at 4.25 FIP rest of season, and that's considering the good start. ZiPS 3.84 lol His mean U projection is around a 3.6 FIP and about 3 wins TERRIBLE
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If Hughes is going to given that high strike,it will be tough to get to him. Especially when it wasnt called a strike earlier in the AB

I believe I read statistically that lefties get screwed on outside pitches much more than righties
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 This thread needs to be renamed the fair weather fans GDT. Seem to be proud of quoting another user using the word RETARD? And of course, he's even more proud and thanking you for it! Try and be more compassionate to those who have loved ones who are mentally handicapped?
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Lol @ this team. If we take this into Baltimore...eek.

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Fans in Portland would appreciate this team. That option is looking more and more appealing.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Let's face it, that bottom of the lineup is pretty weak. It should be a platoon bottom 3, but today Tolleson is in there to boost the defense. I guess Gibbons is reacting to Francisco's defensive mistake yesterday, but I don't see how 1 play should cancel out this platoon when Tolleson is so bad against RHP.
