I don't think this team is a playoff contender at all. I like their offense, but their pitching is bound to come crashing back to earth hard. Hutch hasn't put one single solid start in at home and other than Mark, this team doesn't have a starter you can depend on to go more than 6. If they want to contend whatsoever, they need a front end starter like that guy from the Cubs with the ladt name I can't pronounce. This team is prone to long losing streaks when the offense sputters, just as they arfe to long winning streaks when it's hot.

Hughes has pitched well so far this year? But he hasn't been very good career, considering he pitched on a high octane team like the yanks. With a career ERA of 4.5 and a WHIP of 1.3, I wouldn't exactly call him anything to write home about neither.
