Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Something is wrong with us....these are crushable pitches all series and we keep just missing them. Have to figure it out and quickly today. Exactly, you see ANY other pitcher hanging pitches letter high to ML hitters and you either end up in the seats or in a gap somehwere. With these guys, they're all just either swinging through it or hitting weak fly balls. A bad combination when your pitcher throws a meatball over the plate with 2 strikes, and sure enough, their guy doesn't misss
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Its not everaction when the teams bats and pitching all assudenn got completely cold for not apparent reason
BJs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Our bats are cold, and their's are red hot.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I think the overreaction to these last 6 games is hilarious. This is a team that completely terrorized opponents during May. Good opponents too. If you thought they were going to play baseball at that same pace the entire year, give me what you're smoking. The pitching has been terrible, I don't think that's an overreaction.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 wow nice play Kratz, almost had him
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 What is with us getting behind 2-0 in every first inning???
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 3 of last 4 shutouts I'm just hallucinating. This is baseball bro, not football.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Now that's a better located breaking ball.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 This is baseball bro, not football. What teams do you know get shut out 3 games of out 4 ? Rarely any
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 What is with us getting behind 2-0 in every first inning??? They are trying something new.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Stroman looks like a better pitcher then Happ and hes only 21
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The next series against Baltimore is gonna be VERY important. We don't want to lose our lead in the division.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Now that's a better located breaking ball. He threw one bad breaking ball that happened to be smoked. Don't give up on the guy.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 When you start getting shutout by mediocre pitchers, and mediocre at best, three of the last 4 games, it's alarming. Especially when you hear everyone bragging about how big and bad our lineup is. If it weren't for that 1 homerun by Encarnacion, we'd have 1 run in our last 4 games and that was driven in by a guy we just sent down
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I feel like I've seen this scenario before.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The next series against Baltimore is gonna be VERY important. We don't want to lose our lead in the division. With the way out pitchers and batters are playing i wouldnt be suprised if we get shut out and swept the three games

Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 4 game series. Ah then we have a chance to hit some HRS and maybe win one
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Its not everaction when the teams bats and pitching all assudenn got completely cold for not apparent reason this happens to all teams through the season (bats cooling off). pitching has to carry the team sometimes and we don't have pitching capable of doing that.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Excellent Ground balls ans strikeouts Continue this please
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Stroman going to settle in. Let's get some runs !!
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The best teams in baseball lost 3 games in 4 and dont score many runs at times.... That's true but you miss my point. They didn't just lose 3 out of four, they were SHUTOUT 3 out of 4 by mediocre MLB pitchers and if it weren't for Edwins home run, it could've very well been 4 in a row.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Stroman looking like our best pitcher (SSS)
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Its funny how knee jerk some people are. If the Blue Jays lost 5 of 6 they would still be a very good team. When you win as many games as they did in May, your bound for regression. Some of the best teams in baseball go through cold streaks you know...
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Enough of this. Score some f***ing runs already.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
