Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Oh God no. I'd rather they call up Mastro. Honestly Pillar would be assasinine
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Just got in. Big K there. How has Dickhead looked? Pretty much as per usual. A few strikeouts, a walk, some big flies. 4.32 xFIP (compared to 4.39 on the season).
shortstop Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 fml, i accidentally watched that lawrie/westjet/tattoo commercial..
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Just got in. Big K there. How has Dickhead looked? Been great other than a rough first inning where he gave up two solo shots.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 i would keep gose over pillar. honestly both of their bats are pretty terrible regardless of the matchup. at least gose can bunt and steal bases, pillar is an above average base runner but nothing special.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 People seem to forget Colby was arguably our best player last year. EDWIN was our best player easily

Pitching like a #3-4 should I guess. He hasn't really been that bad. He's been consistently slightly above average.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 4-2 bitcheeeeeeeeeeeez!
S33n Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 The umpires this year have been utterly atrocious.

guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 also god damn it, i was gonna take reyes in the HRC but forgot to post

I would 100% keep Gose to be the 4th OFer. Pillar is decent against LHP but Goes brings more to the table in overall skillset IMO.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 over under on Melky getting 200+ hits ?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 EDWIN was our best player easily No he's right, Eddy was our best hitter but Colby was the best all around player
Unis Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Agreed he can steal 40 SB in a season if he plays more then 60+ Games Already 29-30 games? 3 stolen bases?. Not close to 40 for 60+ games.
shortstop Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 reyes is only warming up & getting better & better...

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 And he eats a lot of innings, and there's still a shred of hope he turns into a #2 like he was with the Mets. There is a lot of value in a guy who can consistently take the ball every 5th day. If we signed him a few years ago for 3/30 (or whatever he got) I'd be pretty pleased with what we've gotten from him. The expectations were just too high from the start.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Already 29-30 games? 3 stolen bases?. Not close to 40 for 60+ games. Prorated on the rest of the season he plays and of course being patient and getting on base
