John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Pillar looks horrible at the plate. Was his discipline this bad in buffalo? aAA player Yes. Pillar chases all kinds of s*** because his hand eye is so good he makes contact with a lot of stuff he should just let go, and results in a lit of terrible contact, or at the hug league level, more whiffs. He needs to learn to take a f***ing walk.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I know, but so many here blame Navarro any time a pitcher starter struggles, it was just a shot at them. It's legit to attack Navarro for framing, he's really bad at it.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Hats off to Redmond for holding them off.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 All this Pillar hate today. Small sample size alert: A week ago he was hitting .333. Give the kid a break, no one is hitting today. That doesn't change the fact that he needs to learn to take a walk. And it's kinda derpy to "small sample alert" and then use a batting average from an even smaller sample size....
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Redmond getting stretched out today for his start in Hutch's next scheduled start.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 It's legit to attack Navarro for framing, he's really bad at it. Yeah, but they go overboard. Today, Hutchison didn't get some calls and there were a couple of sliders right on the low outside corner that Kratz gave up on. If it had been Navarro catching, he would've gotten killed. Umps are inconsistent and make a lot of bad calls. Most of my post was about Hutchison and his struggles since he threw 109 pitches at Philly, but especially at home. Anyway...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Wtf is this from Neshek, it looks like he's convulsing
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Yeah, but they go overboard. Fair enough, but nobody can frame this ump, it was the most inconsistant strike zone since ... Well... Yesterday's game.

One other thing about Hutch... He started the game throwing 89 with the fastball, but by the third was up to 93 consistantly. Maybe he's having some trouble, getting loose
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 So... Um, where the time where this guys comes to a set position before he delivers the ball with a runner on base? I just saw 4 balks in a row.

Maybe he's having some trouble, getting loose I'm hoping it's a mechanical issue. Maybe he's not comfortable on the RC mound and that throws off his mechanics. He certainly doesn't seem to have the command that he shows on the road.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Beating up on this clown show you all call a team appears to have been just what my boys needed. lol. welcome to the board?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I agree he needs to start walking. I posted the .333 average from a week ago as evidence to show the small sample size. As in, its only taken a week of playing part time to knock 100 points off his average, therefore, SSS. Not derpy! Then I misunderstood your intent. My bad.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Beating up on this clown show you all call a team appears to have been just what my boys needed. Meh. Pretty sad trolling effort overall.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Aaron Sanchez today: 6IP, 3H, 1ER, 1BB, 7K, 81 pitches thrown. We'll see if he goes out for the 7th.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 OK do something bottom of the 9th. Friggin 90K people over the weekend at the games, give them a run at least.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 This. Ump. Is. f***ed. Yup. Extra pitches all day for the cards hitters, and calling utter trash as strikes to the jays. Wildly inconsistent on pitches in the same locations from batter to batter
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 OK do something bottom of the 9th. Friggin 90K people over the weekend at the games, give them a run at least. At least Oakland is doing us a favour and just raping Baltimore... Now 10-0 in the 5th
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I guess it doesn't really matter....but it's funny that Gose would pinch hit over Lind or Francisco
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 OK do something bottom of the 9th. Friggin 90K people over the weekend at the games, give them a run at least. No kidding.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Aaron Sanchez today: 6.2IP, 4H, 1ER, 1BB, 7K, 10 GO/2 AO, 60 strikes of 92 total pitches thrown. Updated.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Lind and infield hit. 2 words I never thought I'd hear in same sentence! His beard makes him more aerodynamic.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Turrible. Oh well, go 6-2 every 8 games and I'll be happy.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 My my my... That was just far too easy. But, when my Cardinals are playing an organization that's done nothing but LOSE for the last 20 seasons, I've come to expect nothing less. f*** off. Obvious troll, see ya.

Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 As long as we beat the Orioles. Hate their fans.
