Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 He looked safe to me Too close to reverse the call on the field
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 At least the A's are crushing the Orioles.
McD Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 This may not be a good day to suggest this if the jays can't score any runs but would it be a good idea to create a 'post-game reaction' thread separate from the GDT to discuss the games. Due to time differences I don't get to follow many games live but would appreciate a summary and discussion thread. The GDTs tend to be too large and time-consuming to navigate.

Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 These are some pathetic at bats yikes.
labadee Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 yanks failed to score with bases loaded. come on KC! If we lose, we better hope all the other teams lose as well.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 At least redmond is holding down the fort
HASHTAGYOLOSWAG Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Back to back complete game shutouts?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 This Ump is all over the place for both teams. Doesn't call the low strike, calls the ball 4 inches out of the kzone...
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Redmond is the MVP today... Guy saved the BP from being burnt.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I'm feeling that Hutch may be given some extra days off again or his next start may be skipped. A Redmond / Jenkins combo start in Hutch's next scheduled outing may not be a bad idea. Hutch needs to be there for the dog days.

I swear we used to have Post Game Threads.

BJs Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Bad start from Hutchy today but I have a lot of faith in him.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Good thing Kratz is catching today if not, everyone would be blaming pikachu for Hutchison's struggles and since it can't possibly be that Kratz had anything to do with it, at least we'll take a look at what's going on with Hutchison in a more objective way. I have said before that I didn't like it when Hutchison was allowed to throw 109 pitches against the Phillies on May 6, but maybe it's irrelevant. It's also worth pointing out that his bad starts have usually been at the RC and from watching him pitch there, he just doesn't seem to have the command we're accustomed to seeing from him. Hopefully, there's no injury forthcoming.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 The last ywo games our offense has been the worst I have seen on the last few years. Dont know whats wrong bu we need to fix it and take the Minnesota series
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Pillar looks horrible at the plate. Was his discipline this bad in buffalo? aAA player

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Doesn't matter who calls the pitches if he can't throw them in the strike zone. I know, but so many here blame Navarro any time a starter struggles when he's catching, it was just a shot at them.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Huge game tomorrow night for the bats! Everybody will be watching really close. lol
