Nabru Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Could it be...the Blue Jays finally working the counts? I'm in heaven.
RickyWalks Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 lol these KC announcers bitching about the ump not giving Guthrie those "strikes" on EE.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I would have let juan swing at the first pitch
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I would have let juan swing at the first pitch He definitely should have key-holed that first pitch following a walk and the bases loaded.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Great at bats, this team is lethal if they have a patient approach.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I would have let juan swing at the first pitch I disagree. I really thought he was going to that when he first came to the plate. You have a pitcher on the rope so you look for something good to hit. That looked right down the middle but it could be Franscisco was getting the feel for Guthrie's velocity. Anyway, it's a lost opportunity for runs but at least the pitcher count is way up for a first inning.

Great approach

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Brett needs to change that slight uppercut in his swing
