Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Dickey ended last year's 11 game win streak in Tampa, didn't he?
Smedley Butler Verified Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 No, you're totally wrong... Some games he's actually half decent... But he's definitely getting raped tonight. He had his monthly good start last time out, he's due for 4 stinkers in a row.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 This is really only maybe the third or fourth complete "WTF are you think Gibbons" that I can recall this year... But it's a bad one. Sometimes he has too much faith in the starters... He did yesterday too, but it sort of miraculously worked out because of crazy circus catches at the warning track over and over again...
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Delabar is a guy you need to start an inning with. He's too volatile/wild to strand runners at this point of the year.

frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I'm not being reactionary, I knew this before the game, but we aren't going anywhere with this pitching. In the playoffs we will be going against the opponents best 3 pitchers and this just won't cut it. By seasons end we need front end starters. They need 2 good starters to compete but even the organization knew this before the season started. But..with that offense they are fun to watch..

Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 f***ING HORRIBLE. Dickey will always be my leas favourite Jay. Gibby f***ed up. It was obvious he shoulda been pulled early in the 5th. NOPE. Let him give up the lead and then come back again to give up more damage. Such ********
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 This guy shouldn't be managing this team. As good as they are offensively' date=' this guy is way too f***ing stupid to manage any pitching staff. Not pulling this guy LAST inning was more than enough to question his ability to manage a major league club. Bringing him back out there to extend the lead??? Can he not see that Shields is opposing us?[/quote'] Lol, way overboard on that... Gibbons is one of the best pitching managers there is. Nobody makes the right decisions 100% of the time. I'd rather have gibbons than John " bunt two runners into scoring position when you're down by 3 in the 8th" Farrell.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 He had 7 quality starts in a row previous to this start. He is still the most unreliable "ACE"esque pitcher in the game.

That whole idea he is some genius with the bullpen is f***ing ridiculous.

S33n Verified Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 He is still the most unreliable "ACE"esque pitcher in the game. I'm not saying he is an ace, just addressing you're 1 good start per month comment.
Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I don't post here much. But when I do ... It is to s*** on Dickey.
Smedley Butler Verified Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 He had 7 quality starts in a row previous to this start. Bro, I'm trying to get my hate on over here, you're deflating my rage-boner with your f***ing "facts".

Exactly, Mark is pitching like a no. 1 but realistically, he's a no. 3 and that's even risky in a playoff situation. As it stands now, we have no no.1 or 2 guy. This team should have went after that Jeff Sardine f***ing guy or however the f*** you spell his name that's pitching for the Cubs right now. Dickey is a no. 4 or 3 at best
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Holy f*** chicken littles, it's 1 start. It's losing to KC Royals and Dickey, our Ace, being the reason that is the issue. If we lost last night 'cause of Hendriks' - no one would've cared, everyone would've seen that coming.
Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Since day one Dickey has been here they have left him in tooooo long. f*** that guys ego.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 This is why you can't bring Delabar in with guys on. He's so wild.
