Dynasty leagues I don’t regret leaving bc of the changes from the when they were board leagues, etc but it was a little bitchy leaving the redraft, admittedly as that was never about board guys talking smack, etc

 

As a mea culpa, I’m going to do a redraft Yahoo maybe on Sat 6/1 with 1pt EST draft time. 12 team, 5x5 H2H standard. Scoring starts 6/3. $100 buy in. $600 winner, $360 second, $140 third. If one of the following is interested in me buying them a team and they keep whatever, lmk. In the order as follows for preference:

 

1) BTS- since his league

2) Spanky- Nemesis #1

3) Jim- Nemesis #2

Also, Bellinger has a 131 wRC+, right in line with last year's 134 wRC+

 

The 'Bellinger sucks' side has suddenly pulled back into the lead. What's with the 0 steals? No fantasy juice at all this year.

Not in Ontario. You can do some of the props still, but not the DFS where you compete against other people.

Is Noah Schultz for Trout a fair deal? Trout is such an injury risk. Not sure the value of Schultz but he seems to be climbing up the ranks.

 

Trout is the far more valuable asset here, it isn't close.

Ok, cool. Thanks. Wasn't sure what value Trout would have with his age and injury history.

 

Tough guy to move. Always hurt but the injuries don't seem to have slowed him down much when he does actually play. And the injuries probably lead to tons of lowball offers.

Trout not much trade value but still decent value as a rostered player in most leagues

 

Do the math on 81 games of Trout + 81 games of a replacement-level OF

 

In half a season Trout still probably gives you like 18 homers, 50 RBI, 50 Runs, .260

 

Then his head falls off at the All Star break so you replace him with Gavin Sheets or whoever the f*** is on the wire and that guy gives you .230 with 8 HR, 30 RBI 30 Runs the rest of the way.

 

That still probably adds up to be a top 20 OF or so. It's like Anthony Santander. And it's better than that if you pluck a good guy off the wire. And it can be much better if Trout has a miracle 140 game season.

 

I still think Trout has some more 40 HR seasons in there. He'll be moving around like Ronnie Coleman at the end of his career but baseball is still light work for him.

On the other hand Schultz might be no. 1 pitching prospect atm. If my team is not a contender for sure I am entertaining Trout for Schultz, but can get more than Schultz.

I offered Seager for Jung a month ago and the guy would only do it if I included Framber for Hunter Brown. I said ok, plus one of his milb guys.

 

Brown got his s*** together the next day and has looked pretty great since.

First off, I only had two. “Only 1” is kind of an exaggerated burn, giving the wrong impression. There were two teams that would best be equated to capable and strong 2 year colts, with an eye on being an early favorite and winning the next Kentucky Derby.
