Convo Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Every out counts as a big one at this point
8D Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 That will likely be his best MLB memory. First batter in the bigs and gets out big pappi. Might be his last out too He'll love gibby for life after that one.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Where was Eddy going lol Give him the ball I thought
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 That kid looked so relieved. Good on 'im though.
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Gibby wants to use up the whole pen. He knows this is Boston, right?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 This nesn sideline reporter is bad Elaborate?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I scrolled to around the time of the 6th inning and no surprise, everyone was shocked that Gibbons let Happ go out for the 6th. Unbelievable, I'm telling you, Gibby's had a hand in the blown leads. At least Rasmussen got Ortiz out. Encarnacion thought that was the end of the inning.

He has, has a bad habit of leaving in the starter too long, and bringing in the pen with runners on instead of starting an inning fresh.

That's kind of the relievers job... Sure some of them seem to perform better starting a inning, but if you can't strand base runners more often than not, you don't really belong in the pen.

Convo Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Funny thing is Ortiz has owned lefties this year (career wise not so much)
S33n Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Is it just me or has Delabar started pitching better his last couple of outings Yes he's not walking the first batter he faces on 4 straight pitches

Obviously, but he has left in the starter too long, dickey many times, tonight happ, when it was obvious he was done.

Especially when Happ is a ticking time bomb, he's a big strong guy though, so he should be able to give them 6 innings. He had been saved by Lawrie's great play a couple innings earlier. Anyway...
8D Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 no chance there, realy nice i hope hell become more consistent with his bunts now
