I was concerned about his throwing 110 pitches @ Philly. In his next start, he struggled against the Angels, much like he did yesterday.

 

I never understood why they'd even say he's got no limits, really don't get it. As I said before, I don't get why they'd baby Stroman who pitched close to 140 innings last year and just cut Hutchison loose.

 

Anyway, who knows, it may just be his mechanics.

I think most pitchers actually come back stronger and have more endurance in their arms after coming back from TJS due to all the intense rehab they go through.

Hutch seems to be fading... :/ da faq. Hopefully just a little blip on the radar.

Not practical. There is only a very small group of pitchers who can do what Buehrle has dealing that goo. Also, there are lots of guys who don't throw particularly hard who have arm trouble. Its not only about velocity - its about mechanics.

Yes. Worried about stamina problems.

 

He's probably not going to be able to go 5-6+ IP, every 5 days this season.

It appears like he needs 5 or 6 days off between starts to be effective. His stamina is not there yet and this needs to be worked on. Question is, does his arm feel ok,or is he just not in the best overall physical condition?
