jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 So I see Scott Atchison come out and I think, he looks prehistoric. I check his age and of course it's the same as mine. lol
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 The way he has hit I suspect lawrie better get used to 2nd at least against RH pitching . Juan is brutal facing lefties Amen to that. Juan has NEVER hit a HR off a LHP. lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Yep It's a matter of plus bat / so so defender at 3B (Francisco) vs plus defender / garbage bat ar 2B (Goins/Getz) Obviously with Lawrie at second, we get more offense out of the position, but what do you think of Lawrie's 2B defense versus Goins?
S33n Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Amen to that. Juan has NEVER hit a HR off a LHP. lol Pretty sure he hit one earlier this year, could be wrong.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Obviously with Lawrie at second, we get more offense out of the position, but what do you think of Lawrie's 2B defense versus Goins? Lawrie has better range, better reaction and better arm.... Goins is Tabler's guy, he's got soft hands. Goins bat doesn't play well at any position except bat boy.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Yeah, but I can understand why they're challenging it, you don't see the base move at all.
VegaBond Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 LOL Buck always amazes me. Hes going senile.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Yeah, but I can understand why they're challenging it, you don't see the base move at all. And after all that it didn't matter Oh well BP hold pls
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Pretty sure he hit one earlier this year, could be wrong. you're right. he did get one. career .165 hitter against LHP, but he only has 123 AB vs LHP--- hopefully he can learn to sit back a little and at least get his OBP up so he doesn't hurt them against them
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Can someone tell me why Francona is considered a great manager? http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2009/0507/pg2_g_redsox_04banner_576.jpg http://www.sportsblink.com/product_images/boston-red-sox-framed-curse-reversed-world-series-championship-collage-3337011.jpg http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gxzoLBsiDd0/UZ6WberLFgI/AAAAAAAAAJk/F6t7yy9Bp3c/s1600/-Boston-Red-Sox-vs-Colorado-Rockies-World-Series-Game-Four_18.jpg

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Buck: "Loose Revere" lining up the infield defense LOL
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 yep , he upped his wOBA to 181 against lefties not a lot to hang a jock strap on....
IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 And after all that it didn't matter Oh well BP hold pls Silver lining? Don't they lose the opportunity to call another challenge?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 lol that was perfect timing for that /juan discussion
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Silver lining? Don't they lose the opportunity to call another challenge? Yes! Suck it Francona
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 That was a hit. Francisco should have ate it
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Jesus Buck you're an idiot... You do t plan your defense around what might happen if the pitcher misses his spot .... That's just f***ing retarded... This is what passes for analysis .... Atrocious....
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 lol that was perfect timing for that /juan discussion Yep Ill advised throw for sure Of course, Lawrie used to make more than his share of those
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Silver lining? Don't they lose the opportunity to call another challenge? After the 7th they get another one I think
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Jesus Buck you're an idiot... You do t plan your defense around what might happen if the pitcher misses his spot .... That's just f***ing retarded... This is what passes for analysis .... Atrocious.... It's brilliant. He KNOWS how likely Happ is to miss his spots after the 4th inning. Buck iz genius.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Happ pitches like I want Morrow to pitch, aggressive with the fastball and slider as a strikeout pitch
