G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 and this is why Happ has a hard time as a starter. teams dont need more 4 innings guys. s***... and our pen is gassed. this doesn't bode well. Is Tolleson available tonight?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Happ is done as usual after 5. Who would run him out in the 6th I think that might depend on whether the jays add some runs. At 87 pitches, maybe if they a run or two... Yeah you take a chance and try to get one more inning out of him.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Lawrie might have to get used to playing 2nd. Juan really hasn't hurt them much at 3rd and his bat is a real plus. unless you measure, it will take a bit of getting used to pouring. the volume of the rocks is quite a bit. I dont usually cover mine. I'm not a big drinker.... were they cold enough to chill the whole glass yet? the glass should feel cold in your hand. No, although these crystal glasses are pretty heavy/thick Still, they only had 8-10 hours in the freeer. Probably need 24 to be most effective. Having 3 couples over for a dinner party tomorrow. They'll all get used.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Get Happ out of the game NOW Why? He's doing his best but.............he lack of talent.

His arm is good, but there's been some balls hit past him that Lawrie likely would have taken down. He's not a horrible defender, but he's certainly not the ideal 3b you want out there long term

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Edwin is having himself a night. Dear God. He's finally slugging over .500

He's not a horrible defender, but he's certainly not the ideal 3b you want out there long term his range isn't great, but this is the best option the jays have as it stands. there are no other viable options to cover second and it would probably be easier to pick up another 3rd baseman for next year. Lawrie is premiere at either position and for now this is the teams best overall solution.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 In my show franchise Edwin won MVP. He got off to a terrible start as well. You and TwistedLogic are going to get me in trouble. On iPad, wife glances over and if you or him are on the page it looks like I'm in a sleazy chat room or something. (though esthetically I do prefer this to your JP avatar)
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Tribe really going through their pen early
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Happ is coming back out now. That's a tiny bit Happ-hazard
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 58 year old Scott Atchison coming in to pitch.

Juan is brutal facing lefties
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 The f*** is Francona doing lol. 3 pitchers in the 5th inning.... One would assume this game was a blow out
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 So I see Scott Atchison come out and I think, he looks prehistoric. I check his age and of course it's the same as mine.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 That's a tiny bit Happ-hazard that's it, step away from the bar, you've obviously had enough. lol

Good arm? no way, strong yes, but he will throw his fair share of balls into the 1st base stands
