gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 FFS, Happ chooses today of all days to have his best start of the season. We need Happ to perform now..
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I'm all for it if he can keep it up... Problem is, we know he won't, but a certain FO will guarantee him 5-10 more starts.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I'm all for it if he can keep it up... exactly... if he can be a good 5th starter all year that's great for the team. just cant have it be Russian roulette all year.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 need more runs... not likely going to be good enough with 2 runs. Just get us through seven with the lead. Cecil / Jansen
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 We need Happ to perform now.. can't really have him bomb now that mcgowan is out, redmond is not that much better Guys, I'm all for Happ being the second coming of Bumgarner, but everyone (apparently but those working in our FO) knows he won't keep it up.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Guys, I'm all for Happ being the second coming of Bumgarner, but everyone (apparently but those working in our FO) knows he won't keep it up. Yes. I still want to win this game though.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Happ has actually been not terrible in both results and process. Hopefully he has a quick hook though. 3.01 xFIP through 4 solid innings, but of course our general manager only looks at the sexy ERA combined with the chance to get a W.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I'm getting the impression Francisco's bat plays rather well at RC
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Yes. I still want to win this game though. Obviously, I'd never root against one of our players, perhaps I should have just stated in my original statement that I was shocked that Happ was actually performing well for once.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Beautiful rip the other way. Nice AB Brett.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Kratz 5th decker bitches. Navarro DFA pls

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Yep, Melky will sign a two year deal with a team option. Gose will start in CF next year. If Pompey and Dwight Smith Jr continue to develop, we could have an interesting situation in a few years. There's been grumblings that Dwight Smith Jr. would get moved to 2B but he's only played OF this year.
Jays Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Buck and Pat don't like 'yes' men.... yet that's what they are.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Gose get on base pls...steal all the bases including home pls
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 exactly... if he can be a good 5th starter all year that's great for the team. just cant have it be Russian roulette all year. Guess what arrived today?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Gose get on base pls...steal all the bases including home pls He looks better at the plate than I remember
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 another good ab... tough way to get on
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Wow he got drilled and then some. Hit him square on.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Salazar makes Happ look like a model of efficiency. Holy crap has he used a lot of pitches.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 that really hurts.... leaves a round black bruise that stays for a solid month.
S33n Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 So is Francisco the real deal yet or what?
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 that really hurts.... leaves a round black bruise that stays for a solid month. I would still be on the ground trying to get my breath back
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I'll take both that real Ace and that cardboard cutout..(I really like mascots) Anyway, Salazar is already at 91 pitches. Indians bullpen is gonna get used quite a bit tonight.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Guess what arrived today? if it got there today, it's barely cold enough to use. lol now you know I sent you a couple small ones in case you just want a sip or to add if you need a big ass drink after the game. lol you happy with them?
