Jays:


  • Hutchison pitch a career-best eight innings Tuesday as he yielded five runs in a 6-5, 10-inning victory at Philadelphia. The right-hander's first major league defeat came in his lone career start against the Angels, as he gave up four runs over 5.1 innings in a 4-3 loss May 6, 2012
  • Jose Bautista has now reached base safely in all 37 games to start the season, the longest such streak in the Majors. He's now one game away from tying a streak of 38 games set by Carlos Delgado in 1998.
  • After hitting a double in the seventh inning on Saturday, all six of Steve Tolleson's hits this season have gone for extra bases (four doubles, two triples).

 

Angels:

  • Weaver is 3-0 with a 1.78 ERA in his last four starts as he looks to improve to 9-2 in his career against the Blue Jays. He struck out a season-high seven and gave up one run in eight innings to earn Monday's 4-1 victory over the New York Yankees.
  • Aybar is 5 for 10 in this series while the Angels have overcome Mike Trout and Albert Pujols combining for two hits in 16 at-bats.
  • With their win on Saturday, the Angels have won nine of their last 10 games vs. the Blue Jays.

McGowan, Happ and LAA pitching have set up the Jays to be swept with Weaver and Wilson starting the next 2 games for the Halos. Let's hope the bats come alive today and steal one of the next 2.

Every stadium should be open air.

 

The RC wouldn't make a good open air stadium, it's not shaped like that. Either we keep the roof or build a new stadium for only baseball lol
