It's been a nice two weeks but he's still a league average hitter for his career and can't play a position.

 

He has been having good at bats but I don't buy the big BB% spike after such a short sample. He also has a .379 BABIP.

Very well, some background on me, I was born in the remote village of habibi in the outskirts of djibouti to an albanian prostitute where i was raised by an ascetic monk in the azerbaijan mountains before moving to croatia at the age of 5. At the age of 15 I was conscripted into the croatian military where I served as a janitorial technician in iran. In retrospect, you and me just wouldn't have a chance to really have a thing going. I anticipate we are just two very different entities, beings if you will. While being completely honest I find you very attractive. However there is more to life than looks. For example my ideal first date would go as follows. I would invite you over for a romantic dinner and as soon as you arrived, I would pull you close and whisper in your ear "I have a swanson tv dinner in the freezer with your name on it" and then I would proceed to fill a wine glass with welch's grape juice.

The walk rate increase, if sustained, would suggest he could turn into a very good power hitter or it could be an aberration leading to the eventual regression.

 

Where do the Jays play him when Lindy gets back. There's no place for him. I like the idea of getting him the odd start at 3rd to get him some at bats using lawrie at 2nd, and to have him hit late in games. He could also give lind or EE the odd day off. If he gets enough at bats and produces he could turn into a tradable asset. You could also trade Lindy, who would bring far more in return. It all depends on how much you buy into what has happened lately or whether you feel he's been overly lucky.

 

I don't have an opinion either way. I like what I've seen, but I need to see more. The trick will be finding him some at bats.
