Pete_7 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Per john Lott and Barry Davis. Can't link it on my phone. Hope Stroman gets called up to start
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Wonder what's wrong with Morrow this time.
flafson Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 They should have played him with an insulin pump like they did with Dustin.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Just in: Morrow out with a torn labia and a badly strained vagina.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Whatever.. at least we can get Stroman up here now.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Wonder what's wrong with Morrow this time. Right arm walkiness
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Whatever.. at least we can get Stroman up here now. I doubt is since they called up Jenkins. Probably just revert to a 5 man rotation and use Jenkins in the bullpen.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Morrow out, Happ in No Stroman for the love of God
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Could be a move to try to keep him fresh.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Right arm walkiness Ironically, he only walked one last night.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 And gave up a ton of hits in the process.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I doubt is since they called up Jenkins. Probably just revert to a 5 man rotation and use Jenkins in the bullpen. I think they'll replace Jenkins with Wagner. They really need another guy they can use in high leverage situations. So now both Happ and McGowan will be in the rotation unless they call up either Stroman or Nolin. I mention Nolin because he's already on the 40-man roster while Stroman isn't.
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Just in: Morrow out with a torn labia and a badly strained vagina. that's funny
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Wagner will be eligble to return during the Phillies home-and-home series this coming week.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Wagner will be eligble to return during the Phillies home-and-home series this coming week. If they wanted Wagner, they could have had him right away. You don't need to wait 10 days if it's a DL replacement.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Wagner will be eligble to return during the Phillies home-and-home series this coming week. He could've been recalled because of an injury. Remember, Jenkins was optioned a couple of days ago so he was recalled because of the injury to Morrow. I think they chose Jenkins because Wagner pitched last night.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 So if they do decide to call up Stroman, who gets DFA'd to make room on the 40-man roster? This is why I was thinking Nolin might get the starts. On the other hand, they could just scrap their ninja 6-man rotation.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Stroman not coming up. Jays going with 5 man rotation. FFS
SAAviour Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Mr glass. Good riddance, not a fan anymore....of morrow.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 He was the Jays best pitcher this season...this is a huge loss.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 He was the Jays best pitcher this season...this is a huge loss. lol
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 He was the Jays best pitcher this season...this is a huge loss. It would be less of a loss if Stroman was taking his spot instead of JA Happ
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 All he needs to do is not pitch horrifically and soak up some wins, bam, JA Happ is at prime form and we deal him for ______. http://mlblogsthehappyyoungster.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/bag20of20baseballs20pic-thumb-500x4071.jpg?w=500&h=407
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 2/5 of our starters are diabetic. What could possibly go wrong?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 If Happ shits the bed on Monday, your wish will come to fruition. Lets just hope the Jays score 12 runs off of Kendrick. I said this the other day. I NEVER, EVER root for a Jays player to do poorly. But I want Happ to get rocked by the Phillies so that the FO looks stupid.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 If they're lucky, Happ will have a couple of good starts and hopefully some team will trade for him and his salary. I don't expect much in return, just to clear the roster spot for Stroman in June.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
