fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 A man that can bunt? Welcome! You forgot about Diaz?? LOL
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 It really isn't that great of a start, he's walked a few and hasn't missed many bats. Three walks i agree, not missing many bats means s***.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 good outing by the FIFTH starter!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Who bunts a guy already in scoring position with Jose Reyes coming up next? Damnit Gibby.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Nice piece of hitting by reyes
Convo Verified Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 This is what you guys for trolling the Cards board. Face it they were right about him and hes no Allen Craig. Top 10 CF lol. Hes not even a Top 10 LF. Wut!?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Melky and Reyes come through!!!!!!!!!!
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 He also now has thrown more innings then morrow! Maybe we should threaten morrow with stroman and see how he responds ! Lol might be able to play this game for a month and get great starts from all three involved! Lol
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Three walks i agree, not missing many bats means s***. It's pretty damn important to get swings and misses, allowing contact leads to bad luck, unless you can successfully induce many groundballs.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 It's actuality the most meaningful stat for a pitcher in a smaller sample. Not if he's inducing weak contact at a high rate.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 gotta love manufactured runs.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 This Melky Cabrera guy can really hit
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The f*** you talkin bout? Because HR BB and K all tell you a lot about what the pitcher did in one game. Way more so than runs scored/ERA.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Not if he's inducing weak contact at a high rate. You can't always control weak contact, and it's far safer to K a guy in terms of them not reaching base (assuming the catcher might f*** up) than to allow a groundball or bloop which might drop in.
