fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Well it's 37 year old Pierzynski against 39 year old Dickey! Backs are on the line here!
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Nice to see dickey go around the wall and not hit it!

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I would feel alot more comfortable with a few insurance runs.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Fear that American,He can't be up to no good!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 If Bautista doesn't lay off, that's a nasty pitch
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I would feel alot more comfortable with a few insurance runs. Always But especially with the suddenly shaky bullpen
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Romero is making 7.5M next year. Hes got a team option or a 600k buyout for 2016 though! So that's how one losses 15 million dollars without playing the stock market!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I don't see us getting any free agent SP next year regardless of direction of the team. The interesting part will come regarding what we do with outfield bats. Depends if AA and Beeston get canned and they bring in a FO that is actually aware that you can acquire pitching in free agency.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 This is where it all goes sour for Dickey. 4 or 5 spot. Keep doing this It's working!
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Reyes has been awful at the plate so far this season Odd I asked about that in spring training and that didn't go well!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Bogaerts (sp?) is good. Solid start for Dickey.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 This is why you don't give pitchers long term deals. All of them! Just because of Rickey! f*** even the players union gonna hate him!
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Likelihood the Sox leave this half inning with the lead? I say 95%
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Delabar can't find the strike zone
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 This is why you don't give pitchers long term deals. The 7.5 million for Romero isn't really probative. It just seems that way because of the garbage contracts they've taken on in the meantime and retaining others that should have been traded by now (ie Janssen, Happ) Even if Romero hadn't completely fell off the earth and was a reliable 5th starter, 7.5 million would be a bargain. It's far worse spending the kind of money the Jays have on their bullpen.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Come on, poor Dickey never gets his runners inherited
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Bogaerts is going to be a stud. Yeah... he's going to go off in Fenway too, could be a 30 HR SS in that atrocity.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Imagine somebody playing with a organ in the Rc is not really a new thang! I've heard stories that there are more then a few queer steers in toronta! Lol
