G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Olerud is a good poster. He knows what he's talking about, posts are just usually too long.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Real ones with references, make it professional lol. Guy is brutal. If he didn't have the track record he would have been gone long ago. I would actually like to see this. it's not Hyperbole at all. He's got more excuses than a virgin on prom night.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 He knows what he's talking about, posts are just usually too long. He is a man who expresses his ideas very well
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Next years $12 million salary is looking worse with every start. Guy needs to find it in a hurry. Could we have had Price or Scherzer for the same package? Prob not, teams would have wanted someone MLB caliber and good, like Edwin. But still, trade looks atrocious by any measure.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I fear that people in the dugout will express their anger to him for gas canning causing a big internal situation. What a piece of s***
Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Trade him back to the NL. Dbacks are desperate.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Dickey said he appreciated Gibby giving him chance to get out of jam: "As season progresses ... I'll make those (decisions) pay off for him”
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Definitely Price IMO. Sounds like Rays really wanted Edwin though
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 All jokes aside, how does this ******* expect to pitch in the post-season when it's cold in October?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I fear that people in the dugout will express their anger to him for gas canning causing a big internal situation. What a piece of s*** No they won't dude.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 All jokes aside, how does this ******* expect to pitch in the post-season when it's cold in October? If we made the playoffs by some miracle, no way he'd be in my starting 3.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 All jokes aside, how does this ******* expect to pitch in the post-season when it's cold in October? same goes for our Dominican hitters in cold weather. if this team somehow makes the post season, I can't imagine them being anything but an embarrassment.

I'll make those (decisions) pay off for him” I don't agree with gibby letting him stay in - last outing and this outing - when imo he's showing definitive signs he needs to be removed...didn't see the game but 3-4 guys in a row + 4 shaky innings before that is enough for me... I get the respect thing but when Dickey's off, he's off and can get derailed quickly
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 If we made the playoffs by some miracle, no way he'd be in my starting 3. MB is our ace at this point. Dickey's a borderline #5 right now. Obviously a few good starts and our opinions change, but the walks are really starting to piss me off.

Definitely Price IMO. dArnaud: Top prospect at the hardest defensive position of the game. Syndergaard: Top-50 prospect with huge ceiling

He's here to get out of those innings and win games".
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 He is not helping the team....its time to teade his ass and get something useful for him.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 He is not helping the team....its time to teade his ass and get something useful for him. And what exactly could we for Dickey right now? Something off the McDonald's dollar menu?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 No they won't dude. I hope not, we don't need this
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Olerud is a good poster. Yep! One of my favourites. I voted him 2013's "Funniest Poster."
shortstop Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Gibbons on why he left Dickey in as long as he did. "He's our guy. He's here to get out of those innings and win games". I get Gibby - he's a coach players like to play for & he's hoping the karma will come back around... but imo, it's April, first few outings, if a guy is off, he's off...and if whoever is disrespected, they're disrespected... then again, if it's july and a guys off, he's off... make the decision that helps the team win that game...it's very possible this and last game he wanted to give him the hook earlier but didn't want to face a pissed off Dickie
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Wilko picked Dickey as his ace BBDL <<<< Spank Joel Peralta
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Gibbons on why he left Dickey in as long as he did. "He's our guy. He's here to get out of those innings and win games". To be fair he doesn't want to burn his BP, especially in a doubleheader.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Dickey said he appreciated Gibby giving him chance to get out of jam: "When we're mathematically eliminated ... I'll make those (decisions) pay off for him” Ftfd <--- Fixed that for Dickey.
admin Site Manager Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Definitely could have gotten Latos two years earlier with the value we gave up. AA didn't want to do it at the time. Instead he'd rather go all in and get whatever he could. Said it before and I'll say it again, he did the JP move. Got access to money, couldn't contain his boner and went on a spending spree. Could we have had Price or Scherzer for the same package? Prob not, teams would have wanted someone MLB caliber and good, like Edwin. But still, trade looks atrocious by any measure.
