Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I think we can absorb the impact of Lind being gone for a couple weeks IF we can keep Reyes and Colby in the lineup. If Colby is hurt too, we're a bit f***ed.

If Colby is hurt too, we're a bit f***ed. Almost every AL East team is f***ed by injuries to an extent. As long as they're not out too long, the team can cope with 1 or 2 regulars out of the lineup for a few games. I say play Gose tomorrow in CF and give Rasmus another day off.

Runs allowed in general. We've been lucky in that the department so far. We'll need bats in case that doesn't last.

The Jays rotation has an 84 FIP-. They've been damn good. A playoff berth will be waiting if they pitch like this all year.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 HR/FB luck, 104 xFIP- Sure, but I didn't want to use a predictive stat! I was pointing out that they've pitched very well to date. Unsustainable in the home run department, perhaps. Do you know what their TIPS is?
Jays Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Goins down Reyes up Sierra DFA Gose up Lind DL Francisco up Thole down Kratz up Happ down Janssen up Platoon of Saki and Diaz at 2nd could actually be close to 1 WAR or more. Pretty much this.
