jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Small sample size, and many of those runs were scored off of bad pitchers such as Bruce Chen, Carlos Carrasco, an error filled game vs. Shields.. outside of Detroit, the AL Central is not very good. And don't be fooled by the White Sox's strong start, as bad pitching is offsetting any benefits of their strong offense led by Jose Abreu. And BTW, they're 9th in AVG, and Chris Collabello is due to cool off.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 And they have all had problem with command and the big inning. Twins are second in the league in on base percentage. The pitching hasn't been great but this is a pitchers park and the weather is cold. If you expect us to run away with this series you have another thing coming. Don't forget that they are also big K pitchers, and with the defense behind them and how much more s*** their starters are, the Jays should be fine Dickey gets lit up often. McGowan third start in how many years? Morrow has always inconsistent. 1. The Twins offense isn't scary, Dickey should be fine 2. What does that have to do with anything? He'll be throwing heat and a nasty slider tomorrow lol 3. He'll be good enough to keep us in the ball game, Hughes is on the mound lololol
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Agreed. Twins pitching is 14th in the AL, and at the bottom in multiple categories. Most of their offense was due to playing bad AL Central teams not named Detroit. Remember, this Twins team got swept vs. the A's, an elite team.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 For crying out loud Melky, put your shirt back on and stop being an idiot. Last thing we need is a cold or flu running wild through the clubhouse.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 A sweep would be great but I just hope to win each series . Key to playing in October is winning each series .

bendera3 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 hamstring problem, said not to be serious but it is the jays That's code for he's missing one. There's no money for surgery so some of the players are donating rubber bands and superglue to fix it.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I sure hope Morrow can get loose in this weather. Definitely don't need another injury from him.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I might actually quit watching the Blue Jays on TV if they don't quit with these country 'music' montages. It's so bad it makes me physically ill.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Twins are 5th in baseball in runs scored, and coincidentally or not 5th in OBP
