I want to pound the Twins, but the weather in the Northern US is looking awful. MiLB games in Buffalo and Lansing postponed.

 

Currently -7 Celcius in Minnesota with snow forecast for overnight tonight and tomorrow. Ick.

 

Games in Chicago and Milwaukee also scheduled for tonight

 

Hoping they get to play the games but...

This winter has been ridiculous. Two days ago I'm walking around in shorts and today I have to break out the winter coat again.

 

Enough Mother Nature. We get the point.

 

I just checked the weather forecast, 0-20% POP all day in Minny. Itl'll warm up by tonight. Shouldn't be a problem.

Who's pitching tonight? Hopefully it's not Morrow, he may literally break into pieces due to being uncomfortable in bad weather.

I wouldn't be surprised if they rest Rasmus and let Sierra in instead. Rasmus is 1 for 14 against Hughes (1 HR, 2 RBI) while Sierra is 7 for 15 with 1 HR and 5 RBI.

It is supposed to warm up to +4, and not really calling for much precipitation. +7 next couple of days. It won't be great weather but they should be able to play.

 

Related: they should have built a retractable roof there.

 

 

If this was Toronto or Montreal, some American commentators would be saying "people live in igloos there, they shouldn't have an MLB team there!".

I'm actually happy for dickey. Cold conditions, wind blowing in and a big ballpark. If he's throwing the knuckler in the low 80's I'm predicting a big game for him

He had 2 last year and 10 in 2012. My At Bat app says 7 for 15, not sure where it came from.

There was also 1 BB and 1 HBP but i still can't get to 15.

Well at least Dickey has an excuse for his next bed-s***ing session.

 

Knuckleball is not been doesn't working if it is either too hot or too cold, too windy or not windy enough, too bright or dark, or on any day ending in the letter Y.

Sucks. They probably get 1000+ fans that drive 7 hours from Winnipeg, and they schedule it at such a s*** time of the year.

Havne't gone in a couple years but there were Jays fans everywhere and that was before the big offseason, I'd imagine quite a few more would go if it was in the summer.

our pitching better be good in this series. Twinkies have been scoring a lot of runs. they give up lots as well, but our offense has only had a couple acceptable games. last game was off the charts.

 

Is Colby playing tonight???
