Unowned players who have never played an NHL game and have participated in the NHL draft or have a contract with a professional team are eligible to be drafted. Undrafted players from overseas who are coming to the NHL will not be eligible for the prospect draft, but will be waiver draft eligible. For example, Artemi Panarin or Sergei Plotnikov in 2015.

Goalie's are the hardest to predict, taking them late in the NHL and here is normal practice. That's why I was so intrigued on Oettinger.

Just an observer here, but am I missing something, Spanky? According to the list above, L54 initially picked out of turn and subsequently deleted his post, but you quoted it right away. z3r0s since made his selection, now bringing up L54's actual turn. And since you already know which player he wants, you can probably give him that guy and move on to the next person, yeah?

 

No, his PM is full, I quoted his last selection in round 2. Just to let him know he was coming up in virtual minutes, sighs. Fabbro was his last selection, I confused z3r0s as well, lol.
