I just said most of our team has been terrible at getting hits and listed most of the starters hit totals. Half the starters have only 3 hits through 7 games....I guess that is all star hitting.

I always thought it was a complete steal in itself when they even got the second year on him, everyone assumed he was going to do a 1-year deal to rebuild value. Don't think there's any chance he's gonna talk extension unless they offer him something he thinks is comparable to market value. If he plays even half as good as he has so far for the rest of the season, he's gonna be in for a huge contract. Still just 29 years old.

 

Agree. For those who don't remember, it was AA who pushed for 2 years instead of 1.

Our whole team other than Melky, and 2 non everyday players ( izturis and lind) have hit just as bad a Lawrie. Even Bautista has been terrible. He only has 6 hits, rasmus 3, edwin 3?, goins 3,
