fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Diaz, unlike Goins, is actually calm and cautious at the plate, great walk
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 No hit from Melky, my streak ends tonight at 5, FAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWKKKK!!!!!!!!!!! ...you were saying?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I hope Bautista hits something first pitch, because I get the impression the batters are about one bad call away from someone going off completely and getting tossed, and he's prime candidate #1 Melky!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Melky looks incredible. Wow. I guess having a tumor on your spine really hurts your performance!

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Melky looks incredible. Wow. I guess having a tumor on your spine really hurts your performance! The tumor stopped poking him so now he's poking the needle hahaha all jokes aside he's looking really great at the plate
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Buck is right. Diaz working that walk was huge.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Wow did he say Mattingly had 8 consecutive HR games? That's hard to believe considering he never hit more than 35 in a season.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Are you guys serious or joking about re-signing Melky this early in the season?
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 They're gonna make melky pee between innings now...
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I've said it over and over since before he was signed, the Melky signing was going to be excellent. That freak injury cost him a season, but he's healthy now, and he's performing exactly like I thought he would be. Well... quite a bit better than I thought he would be, but regression will hit eventually. I won't be surprised to see him earn both years of his contract in this season alone. Sucks that he's a free agent at the end of the year.

Convo Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 The tumor stopped poking him so now he's poking the needle hahaha all jokes aside he's looking really great at the plate He's looking more than great. He's on everything he swings at, it's ridiculous.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Melky, don't talk with Lawrie, he's a loser and that's contagious.
