eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Nice sweeping breaking ball from Hutch.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 No... from his body of work. What about his body of work? He doesn't seem like a lazy player, is it because he shows no emotions?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Cobb is hurting my heart. No he's not, he's hurting your brain Your heart is happy!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Contact hitter who can go the other way. I think the better argument against Rasmus in the 2 hole is what we just saw. A strike-out prone hitter isn't a great bet to keep an inning alive for your #3 guy with 2 outs and runners on base I still think it's okay against RHP, but he has to be more selective

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Im not sure I would call Lawrie a contact hitter More so than Rasmus is. I have no confidence putting the hit and run with Rasmus. Let him swing away in the seven spot.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Hutch not sharp but getting the job done.... me likey
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 What I want to know is how Tampa signed Loney so cheap. Gold Glove caliber and crushed for most of the season. He only had like 1 good season, thats why
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 What I want to know is how Tampa signed Loney so cheap. Gold Glove caliber and crushed for most of the season. Because he's a first baseman and sucked for most his career?

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 He truly is the dumbest poster on this forum You got a f***ing problem? Seriously..
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Because he's a below average hitter? Seriously though, Loney f***ing sucks. Zero power at all.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I didn't say he wasn't trying. I was saying way to much inconsistency in his game. And he swings and misses to much to hit high in the order. Hes not worth the kind of money that people are speculating with him in my opinion. While I agree that he's very K-prone, Rasmus will get some money in free agency, if we can sign him to a market-value deal then I would welcome an extension.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Hutch not showing the same control he had in ST
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Link please http://www.blabseal.de/jays/ 2 walks in a row? DFA Hutch
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Hutch's fastball command has been pretty sketchy so far, hopefully he gets comfortable soon
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hutch not showing the same control he had in ST Because he isn't playing a bunch of major league washouts lol
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Seriously though, Loney f***ing sucks. Zero power at all. .389 SLG last year. But, but, .299 avg!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Has he thrown his changeup yet? Gotta mix it up a bit if the fastball command isn't 100%.
