I strongly disagree. Montreal was going insane in 94. They had a potential dynasty that got ruined.

It's not the replay policy that's the problem, it's the way they've allowed managers to delay things while they wait. I'm sure they'll tweak it as they go to put some kind of limit on that

Exactly. It's a terrible baseball town. They'd probably average low 20s unless they had a stadium built in the downtown core. The Big O is not in a nice part of town.

I understand why they allow the outside communication, but maybe they institute some sort of time limit that the manager has to challenge within or something. Kind of like a shot clock in basketball that automatically starts as soon as the play is over, if the challenge isn't issued within 30 seconds, move on.

Not a baseball town lol. Nearly 100 thousand people in 2 days suggest otherwise. Nobody promised the Montreal fans anything. They showed they want a team that nobody cares about in St. Pete, Tampa or whatever the f*** they want to call themselves.

 

they're not a baseball town, don't let hysteria sweep you up. They may miss but if the team isn't great they will not support it
